Course Overview

Autodesk 3ds Max software is used for modelling, texturing animation and high quality of rendering. It allows you to create massive worlds in Civil Architecture Industry with stunning scenes of interior and exterior space design visualization for Architects, Interior Designers and other Civil Industry Professionals. Also the high-end broadcasters and filmmakers employ this software to create engaging visual materials. The real estate and architectural industries use 3ds Max to generate photorealistic images of buildings in the design phase. This way clients can visualize their living spaces accurately and offer critiques based on real models.

MODELING

  • Create and modify objects
  • Differentiate reference coordinate systems
  • Differentiate standard versus extended primitives
  • Identify Vertex types Use object creation and modification workflow

 

MATERIALS / SHADING

  • Set shader parameters
  • Use the Blinn shader
  • Identify standard materials
  • Use the Slate Material Editor

 

LIGHTING

  • Use directional lighting Compare Attenuation and Decay
  • Identify parameters for modifying shadows
  • Add a volumetric effect.

 

ANIMATION

  • Create a path animation and evaluate an object along the path
  • Preview an animation

  • Identify playback settings Locate the value of keys in the Time Slider

 

CAMERAS AND RENDERING

  • Differentiate camera types Orbit and pan Edit FOV (Field of View) Data
